Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a global MNC and currently seeks a strong FP&A Manager for the following:
- Key team member in driving and analyzing operating results, forecasting, and planning for the region
- Work closely with Region leadership team and in development of the forecast, reports and plans.
- Support annual operating plan and strategic planning initiatives
- Ensure GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) compliance and overall financial accuracy
- Drive understanding of all the cost elements in the P&L
- Drive continuous process improvements around forecasting and close process to allow faster response and a deeper level of analysis
- Provide insightful financial analysis of consolidated results, including budgets, forecasts and month-end results
- Determine key drivers of business performance and Identify major risks and opportunities to the forecast and work proactively
- Work significant projects as they arise
- Lead the development of monthly financials forecasts
- Proactively support business segment with ad hoc analysis

Requirements

- MUST be currently based in the UAE
- MUST have a Western European Australian, NZ or North American Passport for travel purposes
- 7-10 years relevant experience in an Analyst or related Finance or Accounting role
- Strong experience generating financial models
- Strong skills in information technology financial applications, particularly SAP (or an equivalent ERP system), Hyperion and Excel financial models
- Experience in construction/services business strongly desired
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent analytic and problem solving skills
- Ability to interact effectively and confidently with all levels of the organization
- Ability to develop a strong partnership/team building relationship with Regional General Managers and other Regional Leaders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to understand/interpret complex data and communicate it in a simple way across functional groups.
- Ability to drive process improvement and own complex analysis
- Time management, organization, and prioritization skills
- Extensive knowledge of risk estimation
