Regional Head of Learning & Training, Financial Crime Compliance, MENAP

The role provides strategic direction on the learning and development of the Bank with specific regards to Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) training such as Anti Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), Client Due Diligence (CDD), Anti Bribering and Corruption (ABC) and Sanctions. These interventions will be delivered to both staff in FCC and Legal and Compliance (L&C) but also to other business functions across the Bank. The role holder will need to establish and implement a training framework and plan for the development and successful roll-out of a comprehensive FCC training program that satifies the needs of the business across the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan (MENAP) region.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Advance the learning and development for staff in L&C/FCC and staff in Business/ other functions across the region, collaborating with business partners to analyze needs; prioritizing training programs; presenting recommendations and directing the implementation of recommendations
* Establish a training design and delivery framework / methodology for training programs to be aligned towards group requirements in L&C/FCC and staff in Business/ other functions, support all global roll outs and ensure timely completion in the region for all FCC related trainings
* Identify the different needs and requirements of different employees in L&C/FCC and staff in Business/ other functions for customization of training programs accordingly
* Design a training plan to ensure training programs are rolled-out effectively, successfully and timely to all staff in the region
* Ensure effective roll-out of training programs to all identified employee Business Segments and L&C/FCC teams according to plan
* Develop campaigns to create awareness on FCC related topics like AML/ CTF, KYC/ CDD, ABC and Sanctions and to also mobilize commitment towards FCC learning and development
* Ensure that the teams in L&C/FCC and staff in Business/ other functions are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge and capabilities to handle financial crime and compliance

LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT
* Inspire FCC awareness and framework
* Support efforts to position the Bank as an industry leader in the eyes of regulators and industry stakeholders
* Promote and embed a compliance culture throughout the Bank

KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
* Research and develop new and innovative ways of learning to enhance the effectiveness of administered lessons and also the retention of knowledge
* Develop and leverage internal and/or external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of learning & development goals

STAKEHOLDER RELATIONS
* Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, for example in the areas of Sanctions, ABC, sensitive client unit, to develop the necessary and relevant training contents
* Work with the Global Head of Training and Education and other Regional Heads for the implementation of FCC related training programs in specialist areas like AML/ CTF, CDD, ABC, Sanctions, sensitive client unit
