Regional Head of Marketing MENA (CCTV, Surveillance, Security)

Our client is one of the biggest Electronics companies in the world with a strong presence in the Middle East.

Reporting to the Marketing Director - the Regional Head of Marketing will work to create product segmentation/positioning models, define the competitive landscape, develop go-to-market strategies, and manage the product lifecycle roadmap. The Senior Manager is also responsible for interfacing with our clients direct and indirect sales channels including internal sales teams, retailers, and distributors. This role will work to ensure that Leadership, sales management and departmental communications are aligned with the organization's overall business objectives and messaging

This position will also be responsible for overseeing the development of strategic channel and new product communications for the Middle East the other regional business units, raising visibility of the our Client, and driving both global sales and market share within 45 countries within the Security & Surveillance sector. This individual will be responsible for providing these customers with the direction and materials they require to carry-out approved marketing programs.

The Senior Manager is responsible for executing and managing:
- Product category roadmap and lifecycle
- Strategic promotional plans and calendars
- Weekly forecasts and formation of plans to close gaps vs. monthly/quarterly/annual plans
- Achievement of category sales and market share goals
- Delivery of demand generation plans and activities
- Creation and presentation of product marketing decks to retail partners
- New product launch activities; development of launch assets, retail merchandising, and campaigns
- Product messaging and positioning
- Development of training materials for internal sales people, field marketing reps, and external sales people
- Trade show support and training

Requirements

- Business, engineering or technical degree
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with all levels of the organization
- Experience in heading a Marketing function within a multi-national for at least 5 years
- Proven experience in dealing with the media, marketing and advertising agencies
- and PR activities
- Proven team leadership experience of at least 5 years (or demonstrated ability)
- Relevant experience in related industry security and surveillance.
- Previous proven experience of developing departmental and organizational strategies in line with the overall company objectives.
- Extensive budgeting and forecasting experience at a senior level.
- Highly professional appearance, attitude and communication style
- High commercial acumen.
