Regional Junior Packaging Manager MEA - Laundry and Home Care

What we offer:
- Developing and optimizing packaging solutions as per the product brief
- Approving and confirming the packaging specifications and materials
- Filling the pipeline of lab activities with new ideas/technologies that fit to business/consumer needs in Middle East and Africa
- Supporting the implementation of the cost chase ideas
- Coordinating with marketing department for development and adaptation of packaging designs
- Ensuring the implementation of Henkel international test methods and procedures
- Managing the packaging lab capacity and equipment as per the development needs
- Preparing PDA (Packaging Development Approval) for all new launches or re-launches with all necessary technical information to ensure proper implementation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Material or Mechanical Engineering
- Above 3 years of work experience in packaging development; preferably, in detergents segment
- Knowledge and experience using CAD is required
- Experience and understanding of packaging technologies (Injection molding, Extrusion blow molding, corrugated box and flexible polybag packaging material) are mandatory
- Strong Project management and Laboratory packaging skills
- Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory
- FMCG packaging experience is mandatory
