Regional Manager - Marks and Spencer - Dubai, Doha, Kuwait

As a Regional Manager you would be responsible for consistent operational excellence across stores and will have full P&L accountability and brand compliance for stores in the region. You will also develop and propose a regional strategy for business development to expand the brand and run profitable retail operations, as well as maintaining an outstanding level of customer experience within the stores.

You would be providing operational and financial direction to the stores through analyzing key financial and operational performance reports, identifying risks and implementing action plans. You would be expected to act with a sense of urgency and alertness to developments in the market to ensure opportunities are addressed and risks are minimized.

The Regional Manager would be working closely with senior management and stakeholders, including but not limited to principal, retail division, corporate as well as government officials. Due to the nature of the role, you would be expected to be mobile and work flexibly through visits and travel to store sites

Requirements

In order to be a successful Regional Manager, you will be educated to a Bachelors or Postgraduate level from a reputable institution, and have at least +15 years of experience, 5 of which should be at senior management level.

You should also have experience in a multichannel retail environment; managing and driving multiple teams in different locations; strong experience delivering and understanding financial budget and key performance indicators; understanding the core subjects of health & safety, age restricted sales, GM pricing and ticketing policies. You should also have an understanding of customer research, the ability to amend the range to reflect customer requirements and feedback, and an understanding of the fashion industry, consumer trends and competitors.
