Regional Revenue Controller

Our client is one of the largest law firms in the world. They pride themselves in being unique in how well they treat their staff and clients.

SALARY: AED 22-25K

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Revenue Controller / Billing executive for their growing Middle East region.

You will work very closely with the Partners, associates, support staff and wider Finance team, manage the region’s ledger, deliver training where necessary, provide detailed regional information to central management team, ensure compliance to all solicitor’s regulation and preparation of reports for the internal and external clients. You will work closely with the Credit Controller, to ensure the working capital is managed efficiently across the region.

Key responsibilities:
- Conduct regular meetings with partners, associates and support staff to manage billing deadlines and financial hygiene
- Advise on and establish best practice processes for new complex client billing arrangements
- Attend Client meetings/calls involving billing issues
- Resolve complex time recording, client account, disbursement, WIP accrual and billings issues including e-Billing
- Organise and run training as required
- Manage and set key monthly billing KPIs
- Prepare and deliver regular management reports for fee earners and client reports as required
- Ensure compliance with SRA regulation
- Building strong working relationships with partners, associates, support staff, offshore processing teams and regional and central finance teams

Requirements

- Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role in a LAW FIRM
- A “can do” attitude
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, fluent English, Arabic language skills would be advantageous
- Strong organisational skills
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships
- Strong excel skills for reporting
- Prior experience in the UAE is desirable but not essential, with preference given to experience with a law firm

The working hours will be 9am to 6pm Sunday to Thursday and will involve some travel to regional offices
