Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a multinational market leader within the homeware and appliances industry who is looking to hire a Regional Sales Manager to cover the entire Gulf Region. Our client is a European, well-known brand who has a chain of distributors across the Middle East and its route to market is both B2B as well as direct B2C - partnering with other multinational brands to add value and joint promotions. This role will be based in Dubai but will include seasonal travel across the Middle East.
Reporting into the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for the maintenance and growth of market share across the gulf through both distributor management as well as identifying business opportunities via new business partners or new territory openings. You will have a strategic sales approach, monitoring new market trends and develop pricing strategies. You will have 2 direct reports who are solely responsible for North Africa so management skills are a must to be considered.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a fluent Arabic speaker with at least 5 years UAE experience within a multiple market sales role within either home appliances, homeware, kitchen or related FMCG industry. Only candidates who are currently working for a multinational corporation will be considered and you should be able to travel across the GCC freely - therefore hold a passport to allow this. You should be a motivated and entrepreneurial spirited individual, who possess cultural adaptability and is able to work autonomously.
