Employment: Full Time

The Regional Sales Manager – Oil & Gas Separations has overall responsibility for Sales for the Oil & Gas Separations business in Middle East. He/She will be responsible for exploring business opportunities, identifying customers and negotiating deals to achieve set monthly sales and annual revenue. The role involves networking with existing and prospective customers, building and maintaining long-term relationships to acquire new business and improve the company’s market position.

Essential Job Functions:
- Leads and develops project sales, distribution sales, direct accounts, contract negotiations, and new product introductions, including sales plans, account strategies, new market development plans, sales policies to ensure continuing sales growth and profitability.
- Establishes and manages relationships with EPC firms in the region to develop a project funnel for the business. Creates relationships with purchasing functions within the EPC firms assuring that Pentair is registered as an approved vendor with the EPC and for relevant projects. Creates relationships with engineering departments to develop project leads, and actively develop opportunities.
- Establishes and manages corporate key account relationships with major end users (national oil companies, major independent oil & gas companies, and key regional OEMs. Creates relationships with purchasing functions within the EPC firms assuring that Pentair is registered as an approved vendor with the key corporate accounts and for relevant projects. Creates relationships with engineering departments to develop project leads, and actively develop opportunities.
- Leads a team of sales professionals setting vision and strategy for the sales team and working cross functionally with Marketing, Operations, Customer Service and Engineering to align strategic objectives across the organization to ensure collaboration, teamwork, and accomplishment of business goals.
- This position will be responsible for driving performance against plan for assigned segments and critical breakthrough objectives including top line sales, new customer acquisition, and new product sales.

Requirements

- Leads key account sales to drive account penetration efforts for targeted markets and applications.
- Develops plan for targeting selected strategic markets/accounts for penetration.
- Analyze sales and expense budgets, participate in sales forecasting & budgeting processes, and identify opportunities to reduce expenses & increase margins
- Represent the company at trade shows
- Maintain excellent communications externally and internally including regular sales and monthly reports.
- Manages the training, appraising, promoting, disciplining, succession planning and other personnel actions of assigned employees.
