Regional Supply Chain Planner

Job description / Role

20k Max per month. Candidates must be in the UAE at the moment.

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for a large MNC Multi national organization.

Reporting to the supply chain manager you are responsible for the supply planning for the organization across the GCC.

The Regional Supply Planner is accountable to meet the defined inventory and service level targets for the respective Country ship to by:
- Leading and coordinating Middle East and Africa Supply Planning activities for providing forecast to sites or External Suppliers in Western Europe and managing the demand for the region.
- Leading the Total supply planning cycle for the flow (Purchase and Sales Orders) from Consolidation Center to Country Ship-to
- Taking on ownership for balancing and optimizing the Supply Plan against the Demand Plan
- Working independently of day-to-day supervision
- Communicating effectively across organizational lines to introduce mid-term changes and providing for exceptions

Main tasks
- Responsible for mid-term Supply planning to ensure and maintain accuracy and consistency in procedures in line with KPI’s
- Establish and maintain safety stock and inventory balances appropriate to meet demand requirements but at lowest feasible levels. Initiate and determine disposition of excess, obsolete and slow-moving inventories
- Monitor and investigate to ensure that all sales and purchase orders are fulfilled. Ensure that corporate standards in Supply Chain are maintained and improved.
- Resolve any materials management issues causing deviations from inventory and service level targets
- Identify and communicate real or potential material supply chain issues; initiate corrective actions, coordinate across functional boundaries and follow up to resolution
- Creates supply and demand balance on supplying site level and agrees WE or 3rd party supplier and Country Ship-to
- Reviews demands of critical articles and customers where appropriate
- Executes planning system (SOPII) work list and reacts on exceptions in order to adjust or execute net demand
- Check purchase and sales order generation and follow-up in case of issues, and generate manual orders in exceptional cases
- Creates and sends out to stakeholders monthly reports on supply chain performance of the respective TG & RM.

Requirements

- You must have significant demand and supply planning experience
- You must be a super user on SAP this will be tested at interview stage
- You will be currently working for a manufacturing FMCG or Adhesive, or IT company
- Solid stakeholder management experience
- Ideally supervisory experience
- Solid SOP experience
- Experience of identifying supply chain issues from planning
- Solid stock management experience on the planning side
