Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Total patient/client care is rendered according to the scientific nursing process following the guidelines of the international patient safety goals, evidence based practice and clinical pathways as per policy
- Strict adherence to Infection Control standards
- Mutually beneficial relationships are built and maintained with colleagues and multidisciplinary team
- Stock and equipment control
- High emphasis on customer/patient care and hospitality
- Ensures patient records meet legal requirements
- Continuous improvement projects are implemented and monitored
- Participate in Continuous Professional Development
- Professional ethics, Mediclinic values and caring standards are demonstrated

Requirements

- Bachelor of Science OR Diploma in Nursing with a minimum of 3 years duration excluding the Midwifery course from a recognized Nursing Institute
- Proof of valid registration as a Registered Nurse from home country or an international recognized body
- Minimum two years experience in Accident & Emergency preferably in a private tertiary hospital
- Proven clinical competence in accident and emergency disciplines
- Exposure to international accreditation standards
- Able to work effectively within a team
- Ability to function effectively under pressure
- Able to promote excellence in patient care through mentoring and quality management
- English language proficiency is a must and Arabic language is an advantage
- Basic computer knowledge
