The Infrastructure & Transportation industry group comprises of 27 bankers globally at the front end of Standard Chartered Bank's client franchise.

As an investment banking sector coverage team, we aspire to be the leading trusted advisor and financier to our clients from the following segments:
* Aviation
* Logistics
* Power Generation / Clean Energy
* Shipping
* Technology / Media
* Telecommunications
* Transportation Infrastructure (Airports / Ports / Toll roads / etc.)
* Utilities

The team is uniquely positioned in its emerging market focus with local presence in Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai and London.

To support our upcoming 2015 transaction pipelines, we are looking for analysts to join our team.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
* Perform financial and valuation analyses using various methodologies relevant for the Industry
* Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyze the impacts of different capital structures and potential M&A transactions
* Participate in both origination and execution of transactions, from the pitch phase through to closing
* Support the preparation of presentation materials for use in client meetings, covering topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activity and general corporate finance
* Support the origination and execution of equity and debt transactions including due diligence and drafting of documents
* Maintain up to date knowledge on clients and targets
* Research and analysis of markets and industries
* Research and financial analysis of companies based on company information, research reports, and other information sources
* Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the Bank
* Involved in day to day project management and execution support
* Complete all required credit and regulatory examinations

Requirements

* Degree or post graduate qualified from a top-tier school
* Highly motivated individuals with a strong record of achievement in academics and/or previous employment in investment banking
* Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem solving abilities, basic accounting and corporate finance skills
* Ability to excel in both team and self-directed settings
* Strong work ethic, detail orientation and a passion for excellence
* Excellent numerical skills

Key skills:
* Proficient with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel Word and PowerPoint,
* Generate prospectuses/ information memoranda/ investment teasers/ pitch books under guidance;
* General industry/ country/ company research
* Strong attention to details ensuring error free work output
* Capable of multi-tasking and working under tight deadlines to produced timely and quality work
* Excellent teamwork / inter-personal / communication skills
* Adherence to Standard Chartered Bank' corporate values
