Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The role of the Relationship Manager is to build and manage the relationships with company’s existing corporate clients and SME accounts.

The role includes ensuring the client’s expectations are met by managing all aspects of client servicing before and after the renewal takes place.

You will also be sourcing, meeting and presenting to potential corporate customers to increase and retain the corporate portfolio of the organization.

Result Focus:
- Meeting the set retention rate of the portfolio allotted.
- Responsible for ensuring that the lapse rate within the portfolio allocated is within defined limits.
- Ensures that the profitability of the assigned portfolio is maintained.
- Ensures that customer complaints of a critical nature are within the defined limits;
- Responsible to ensure critical errors in terms of the deliverables to clients are minimum and within the defined parameters and benchmarks.

Client Servicing:
- Ensure that all queries via phone / e-mail / walk-ins and / or any other means of respective clients allocated to them, is answered and the client’s issues, queries are resolved as per the defined benchmarks.
- Matching client risk issues with company capabilities as per their requirements.
- Review, analyse and understand clients/prospects business to determine needs, and potential business opportunities
- Monitoring client satisfaction and addressing concerns
- Conduct presentations for the clients;
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through an effective communication plan including visits

Requirements

- 5 years of minimum experience in Medical Insurance industry, preferably in client servicing or retention. Experience in handling Group clients and IPMI would be preferred

Job Knowledge Requirement:
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Outlook and Power Point. Advanced knowledge of Excel ie Statistical Analysis, Pivot Tables etc. preferable;
- Passionate and driven;
- Analytical;
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills;
- Ability to analyze and understand things by ensuring attention to detail is given;
- Sound organizational and time management skills.
- Must be empathetic and have a strong culture of compliance and client servicing
