Job description / Role
Our client is one of the key players in the SME Market, providing Trade & Working Capital & funded solutions to businesses in the UAE.
The candidate will have experience of working with products like LCs, LGs, Trust Receipts, Invoice Finance, Cheque Discounting, Inventory Finance (T&WC) along with regular Business Loans and Vehicle Finance.
- Evaluating new business opportunities by demonstrating sound market knowledge and an understanding of business trends
- Identifying and closing leads by determining feasibility in accordance with the client’s product line
- Acquiring new clients by converting leads into sales and negotiating commercial agreements
- Managing 3rd party introducers and developing a marketing plan to acquire new opportunities via them
- Obtaining requisite information to complete the credit application (corporate profile, business information, financial statements, etc.) and submitting the credit proposal
- Devising a sales strategy to meet performance targets and maintaining client relationships
- Improving the quality of the portfolio
- Working with other departments to ensure seamless delivery to clients
- Adhere to company policies and procedures as required
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Sound technical knowledge of T&WC products
- Experience of preparing credit applications internally and sound commercial credit understanding
- A strong network of clients within the UAE
- Experience in interpreting financial statements and company financials
- A Bachelors’ degree, preferably in a Business related discipline
- Excellent communication skills and business writing
