What you'll be doing

Chalhoub's executive hiring team is expanding, and we are looking for a researcher to join us. We love luxury retail and we hope you do to! As an executive hiring researcher, you will work in partnership with our internal consultants to find, attract and from time to time assess strategically important luxury retail talent for the Group. The mandates will vary across all verticals and will include mid to senior level appointments. You will spend your days researching and capturing data on senior talent in fashion, beauty, luxury home, supply chain, corporate to name a few!

As a researcher, you will be integral to the delivery of the assignments and projects across the executive hiring team. You will have a great opportunity to deepen our understanding of the competitor landscape by presenting your clever research & insights. You will play an active role from briefing through to appointment, meeting with our hiring managers and in administering the process end to end. You will work on a variety of mandates simultaneously with competing deadlines, adding variety to your day.

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for individuals who love luxury retail, are career focused and have the ambition to be the best in their field, who have a desire to meet our commitments and deliver out of the box thinking when it comes to research. You will be a self-starter, capable of working with the required level of urgency, depending on the mandate.

- Deliver projects in a timely manner on linkedin or via market mapping as required
- Identify top talent for roles, regionally and internationally as required by the business
- Conduct research for executive search, using a variety of methods of sourcing including ATS, social, online, network, add ons, direct advertisement etc
- Identify the talent landscape, producing a market map with clear flow and coverage of the required market
- Produce data insights from project and mapping work and share your great findings with the teams
- Manage projects simultaneously, delivering on time every time
- Administer the entire process end to end not limited to formatting JD's, creating a project timeline, market mapping, maintaining trackers, writing candidate profiles, interview scheduling, ATS management

Requirements

Your Profile:

- Excellent research skills gained from working in a similar role within a search firm or inhouse executive hiring team
- Excellent excel skills gained from exposure to manually creating mapping from research
- A keen interest in luxury retail gained through personal interest or work experience
- Ability to set and deliver to project timelines
- Action oriented, working with high levels of urgency
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience working in a reputable search firm with deep knowledge of markets and mandates researched
- Experience in close collaboration with peers, clients and people across a complex organisation
