Resident Engineer - Car Park Structure

JOB OVERVIEW:
• Acts as Engineers Representative.
• Coordinates with the Department and Contractor.
• Liaises with other Authorities.
• Advises on contractual and construction matters.
• Liaises with Department and approve Contractors submissions.
• Coordinates forward planning.
• Implements the terms and conditions of Contract.
• Supervises, reviews, monitors and reports on progress.
• Liaises with all parties for site safety.
• Convenes and chair regular site meetings.
• Issues additional drawings etc. as required.
• Provides technical leadership to his team.
• Coordinates and monitors activities of his team.
• Ensures prompt exchange of correspondence and approvals.
• Ensures accuracy and completeness of records according to ISO 9001.
• Maintains awareness of contracts financial status.
• Gives final approval to Works and arrange Handover.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil, or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably with professional engineering affiliation and registration.
• At least 20 years of relevant experience in construction supervision work.
• At least 5 years experience working on the same capacity in the GCC region.
• Have completed at least 1 multi-level car park structure as a Resident Engineer.
• Preferably with similar experience in Dubai.
• Extensive contracts background.
• Available to start immediately.
