Job description / Role
- Acts as Engineers Representative.
- Coordinates with the Department and Contractor.
- Liaises with other Authorities.
- Advises on contractual and construction matters.
- Liaises with Department and approve Contractors submissions.
- Coordinates forward planning.
- Implements the terms and conditions of Contract.
- Supervises, reviews, monitors and reports on progress.
- Liaises with all parties for site safety.
- Convenes and chair regular site meetings.
- Issues additional drawings etc. as required.
- Provides technical leadership to his team.
- Coordinates and monitors activities of his team.
- Ensures prompt exchange of correspondence and approvals.
- Ensures accuracy and completeness of records according to ISO 9001.
- Maintains awareness of contracts financial status.
- Gives final approval to Works and arrange Handover.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional engineering affiliation and registration.
- At least 15 years relevant experience in construction supervision of large scale roads, highway, infrastructure and utilities projects.
- At least 3 years relevant work experience in an engineering consulting firm.
- Preferably with at least 7 years relevant experience in UAE or Middle East.
