Retail Assistant (Core Business Hours)

Job description / Role

The Retail Assistant will be responsible for replenishing stock, serving customers, helping advise with any queries and also will escalate issues to Store Manager or Operations Manager where appropriate. This role will be Sunday to Thursday within core business working hours.

Achieve Sales Goal
- Achieve required retail sales targets set by the Company as communicated by the Store Manager.
- Responsible for accuracy of all Point of Sale transactions.
- Suggest group of appropriate products to meet and exceed customers' needs.
- Communicate and demonstrate the uses and benefits of all products to the customer as relevant to their needs.
- Checks inventory and coordinate with the Manager to replenish stocks

Customer Service / Building Relationship
- Provide welcoming, personal, professional service to all customers at all times.
- Demonstrate excellent product knowledge, communicating this to the customer to meet their needs.
- Build and maintain a good work relationship with the new and existing customers.
- Gather feedback from clients and report to Store Manager.
- Help colleagues and team efficiency by being flexible and taking on tasks as required

Merchandising /Maintaining Cleanliness
- Adhere to Company’s hygiene standards and take action to ensure the store cleanliness and safety.
- Assist daily in stock and hygiene supplies replenishment and maintain appropriate levels throughout the day.
- Maintain proper placement and condition of merchandise on counter, in stock rooms and all stock holding areas.
- Check regularly for correct batch coding and pricing.
- Assist in the receiving of merchandise.

Maintain Personal Grooming
- Maintain high standard of personal grooming as required by the Company, wear only company products during working hours.

Other
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Attend education seminars to gain Brand philosophy and product knowledge.
- Inform management of any store maintenance or Health and Safety issues which might lead to accidents.
- Display good time management and time keeping.

Requirements

You will have at least 1 years in related field or environment within retail. You will have:
- Focus on being results driven and achieving targets
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Excellent Customer service experience
- Self-motivated and action oriented individual
