Retail Buyer - Footwear

Job description / Role

One of the UAE's rapidly retailers is looking to hire an experienced Retail Buyer - Footwear to join its expanding operations team. You will be responsible for planning and selecting a range of products to sell in retail outlets.

Other Responsibilities
* Analysing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends;
* Regularly reviewing performance indicators, such as sales and discount levels;
* Managing plans for stock levels;
* Reacting to changes in demand and logistics;
* Meeting suppliers and negotiating terms of contract;
* Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products;
* Support all product promotional activities in the stores and proactively work with the Training Department to ensure up-to-date product training is delivered to the stores.writing reports and forecasting sales levels;
* Create clear, comprehensive product plans to ensure profitability by maintaining & building consumer focused brand lines
* Liaising with shop personnel to ensure supply meets demand;
* Training and mentoring junior staff.
