Job description / Role
Retail Development Manager - Dubai
JOB PURPOSE:
- To enable the execution of company growth strategy by assessing potential locations (market, population, access, visibility etc), negotiate contracts, liaise with PRO and/or Municipality, work closely with contractors, follow brand guidelines, liaise with material controller to ensure correct inventory.
- Also, the position will be responsible for the upkeep/maintenance of existing branches and refurbishments when necessary.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / TASKS
- Deliver new outlets on time, on budget and at the correct level of quality.
- Ensures full compliance with Brand Guidelines.
- Track project progress and report to the Retail Business Manager on a weekly basis.
- Develop an outlet identification/selection criteria to be used in determining outlet attractiveness.
- Ensure appropriate mechanisms are in place for risk and issue management.
- Negotiate favorable terms with landlords & costings with contractors.
- Ensure all projects meet local legislation guidelines.
Requirements
- At least 10 year Gulf experience.
- Experience of opening retail outlets.
- Impressive track record of achieving results.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
