Employment: Full Time

Real Estate Technical Surveillance Officer (RETSO) is a critical role in Policy and Portfolio Management of RB Mortgage Business. It is involved in all aspects of managing risks relating to the underlying properties in the mortgage portfolio. The role also involves supporting the CRM Head in policy formulation as well as establishing a good relationship with relevant government authorities, developers and valuers.

Job is open for UAE nationals only. A suitable client must have 3-5 years of experience in property valuations, or developments or project assessment. Candidates with experience in working for reputable Developers and Real estate companies may also apply.

Candidate must have Experience in real estate market in Emirates of Dubai & Abu dhabi. Candidate must display in depth knowledge of real estate market and ability to foresee any major changes in the market situation.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

* Managing valuers relationship and the valuation process as per Group policies
* Develop and define the valuation process in light of group policies
* Estimating home price indices and maintaining the up to date information on the same with coordination of valuers.
* Manage and monitor valuers' performance on regular basis
* Empanelment of new valuation companies on the Bank's panel
* Assisting the CRM Head with managing the mortgage portfolio and supporting individual policies
* Managing the exposure of the mortgage portfolio, visiting the empanelment of new properties, and regular updates of developments the Bank has exposure to.
* Regular monitoring of movements in real estate pricing and in supply and demand of the same.

Requirements

* Minimum Education Level: Baccalaureate
* Having a RICS certification or Diploma in Quantity Survey or Property Valuations, or a degree/Diploma in Civil engineering will be additional qualification.
