Charterhouse are currently partnering with one of our leading clients, within the MICE sector, whom are in the process of looking to recruit a Revenue Accountant within their centralised finance team.

This role will designed to support all financial operations, linked to receivables finance, along a focus towards collection policy and ensuring the strengthening of cash-flow positions through strong customer relationship management combined with a robust and systematic process to complement collection targets. The role shall also be heavily geared towards the financial accounting aspects across the Accounts Receivable (AR) ledgers along with oversight and management of General Ledger (GL) accounting and reconciliation. In conjunction, this role will also be focused towards ensuring strong compliance and administrative procedures to ensure the required documentation for both supplier contractual purposed and internal audit trails.

Requirements

The nature of this client and the scale of the operation means that candidates will be expected to delivery both excellent technical and accounting practices whilst also being able to manage very strong external relationship, with a client-facing focus, to ensure strong communication and relationship management skills to monitor and interact both operationally whilst managing any contractual issues and delinquent payments. The client will look to recruit a professionally qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA) with a solid track record within Receivables finance. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate up to 5 years of experience, within a multinational organisation, along with exposure to the MICE sector and/or client base. Candidates will also be well-versed and familiar with the work culture and cosmopolitan nature of the UAE work environment.
