Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Reporting to the Working Capital Manager, this role has arisen in the Dubai office of an international legal practice which serves clients across the globe. They have a presence in the US, UK, Europe, Middle East, Russia, Asia Pacific and Africa.

Primary responsibilities include delivering the monthly billing targets for the MENA region, develop sound working relationships with Partners and clients, manage the WIP and disbursement balances for the region as well as ensuring various client’s billing requirements are me and motivate and manage the MENA billing team.

You will conduct regular meetings with the Partners to manage billing deadlines, house-keep aged WIP and ensure billing targets are met each month. Liaise with Partners and billing team to produce accurate monthly billing estimates and ensure that all bills are processed in a timely manner in line with client requirements and promptly despatched.

You will understand billing processes for key clients and update their financial management requirements on a regular basis,internal and external client interaction including occasional attendance at client meetings, resolve complex billing, time recording, WIP & disbursement and client funds issues, regular liaison with the Credit Control team leader to address issues that arise and ensure the team follow best practice processes at all times.

Requirements

Our client is seeking a solid background in billing and revenue control within the legal sector, exceptional interpersonal skills and a confident manner in order to enable them to win the respectof partner, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a background in leading and developing teams in a motivational manner will also be an advantage, the ability to prioritise workloads and work towards tight deadlines. Elite experience will be an advantage.
