Employment: Full Time

A global management consulting company is looking for experienced Rewards Consultant to join its consulting practice in Dubai.

The primary responsibility of the Rewards Consultant is to have a direct and positive impact to our client’s business success. They will do this by understanding clients underlying business issues/challenges and working in partnership with other consultants and with clients to develop and implement solutions to address these issues, drawing on the full range of our expertise.

To carry out their roles effectively, the consultant must have a personal commitment to excellence and timely delivery.
They will serve as project managers for mid/large size projects, which are often complex in nature.

They may also be responsible for developing new business by leading existing client relationships/opportunities and/or opening up opportunities with new clients, which includes positioning Solutions and Offerings.

Specific responsibilities include:

Understand Clients and their Business
Lead research, analysis, and interpretation across multiple industries and functions, including client performance and the client competitor performance.
Conduct, collect and analyze relevant market information to identify possible impact opportunity through effective market analysis and industry knowledge.
Develop hypotheses about client business issues based on sound analysis plus client, sector and industry know how.
Research, organize, and manage client data; partner with the Expertise and Knowledge Management team to strengthen our intellectual property.
Look for ways to further enhance and develop reporting capabilities, including our client’s short, medium, and long-term performance trends.

Develop Client Relationships
Look for ways to build new client relationships e.g. active networking, asking for referrals.
Manage and expand client relationships to increase opportunities to further impact the client’s business success. Client relationships may extend beyond technical buyers to business leaders.
Support relationship development with large, key clients as part of an account team

Shape Solutions and Win Business
Lead proposal writing, shaping of opportunities, pitch preparation, opportunity spotting for small-medium sized opportunities/clients.
Supports the sale of projects in small/medium organizations. Expands active relationships to increase opportunities with current clients and looks for ways to build new client relationships.
Support and/or lead the development of innovative solutions for our clients by working as part of and/or leading a client or opportunity team.
Leverage insight to define, recommend and/or co-create strategic solutions for our clients.
Leverage the firm’s deep expertise to develop ideas and prepare client proposals. View business issues from multiple expertise angles and offer solutions that integrate across the businesses.
May undertake the role of subject matter expect working with CRD’s/sales leaders to shape significant commercial proposals that meet client needs.

Deliver Impact
Facilitate project teams by defining the project scope and objectives.
Establish a project management structure for each engagement that includes key milestones, deliverables, accountabilities, resources, and activities.
Ensure constant focus on outcomes by advancing the team’s success and capabilities through sophisticated relationship management, influence, coaching, problem solving, and diplomacy skills.
Manage client expectations and ensure project members are sufficiently enabled to meet client expectations.
Ensure client deliverables meet or exceed client expectations through work quality and timeliness.
Act as a team and/or expertise network leader.
Provide guidance/oversight to junior level consultants to ensure efficient delivery.
Deliver high quality, timely, and impactful work for clients drawing on own expertise.
Assess and measure the impact of our work on our client’s business through research, analysis and reporting

Participate as a cooperative, proactive team member, leveraging and involving colleagues, both domestically and internationally.
Develop a strong internal brand and network.
Contribute to thought leadership and/or research.

Develop Capability
Support others to develop critical skills and knowledge e.g. by actively looking for ways to coach, develop, and mentor other team members.
Become proficient in consulting model, methodologies and technologies by attending assigned online learning, virtual learning sessions, webinars, internal/external seminars, participating in consulting projects and other experiential learning opportunities, reading and researching relevant literature.
Continue to deepen and broaden expertise to enable an expanded viewpoint on the issues impacting our clients.

Requirements

- An undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Approximately 4 to 10 years of consulting or relevant professional experience.
- Must have consulting experience in any of the following:
Job evaluation, job description writing and competency development
Remuneration policies – including long and short-term incentive policy development
Salary structuring
Development of reward Competency-based recruitment and selection
Performance-based pay

Critical Skills & Abilities:
- Detail-oriented and well-organized. Leverages structure and a logical approach when working through problems.
- Experience analyzing and interpreting data.
- Proficient English language skills (for those for whom English is not a first language), enabling a culture of global collaboration, partnership, and learning.
- Excellent communication skills in their native language, as well as sufficient English language skills, enabling a culture of global collaboration, partnership, and learning.
