Risk Manager

Job description / Role

Adecco is looking to hire a Risk Manager for one of our client who is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Facilitating the implementation, operation, and sustenance of the Enterprise Risk Management process.
• Initiating discussions on risk identification, classification, and mitigation with stakeholders
• Preparation and preservation of minutes of risk management discussions
• Ensuring timely updates of risk registers
• Supporting the management in tracking action plan till closure
• Testing the actions proposed to mitigate risks
• Preparing all dashboard & reporting requirements for risk management. The reporting would be expected to be of high quality which would be presented before senior Stakeholders
• Assisting in risk management framework/policy making
• Tracking compliance of the function with the Enterprise Risk Management framework and policy
• Managing all risk related documentation and version control
• Assisting in implementing proposed improvements in the risk management function
• Partnering in deep diving into select risks and strategizing the mitigation measures
• Providing necessary back-up for ensuring business continuity

Requirements

EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 8 Years of experience in the risk, compliance, audit or governance area.
• Having a deep knowledge of businesses/organizations and the ability to evaluate risks.
• Knowledge of industry’s standards and regulations is desirable.
• Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.

EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree preferably with professional qualifications like CS, CA, CFA or MBA.

KEY SKILLS
• MS Office
• Knowledge of Statutory audit
• Knowledge of accounting system SAP, HFM or equivalent
• Proficiency in the English language
