Job description / Role

Accountable and responsible for communicating abnormalities within the Engineering department; interfacing with EIC, Flight Operations to support on-time performance standards; take necessary corrective actions resulting from quality audits and provide assistance with regards to hybrid trouble shooting and recurrent technical problems.

Other duties and Responsibilities also include:
- Ensure that the highest level of Airworthiness Standards and Safety are maintained
- Adhere to health, Safety and Environmental regulations as detailed in the Company Safety Management System Manual.
- Effectively supervise those under his supervision in the performance of their duties and responsibilities and delegate those duties and responsibilities as appropriate.
- Be responsible for the standard and quality of his own work and for the work of those under his direct supervision.
- Familiarize himself with and adhere to Company Procedures and Policies in order to meet all anticipated operation requirements in a cost-effective manner.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with approved Company, manufacturer and Airworthiness Authority published manuals, Procedures and Regulations.
- Ensure that all maintenance and defect rectification is carried out to the relevant design and quality standards.
- Ensure the requirement of the relevant Maintenance Manuals and Schedules are complied with.
- Liaise with the appropriate department, section or personnel as required to ensure the satisfactory completion of his assigned work.
- Maintain a current technical understanding and working knowledge of Company Aircraft Types, Policies and Procedures.
- Maintain the validity of his license and Company Authorisation and ensure that all work certified under that Authorisation is within the scope of such Authorisation. Any work allocated which is outside such scope shall be reported to the Engineering Director
- Ensure that any aircraft presented to the customer is in a clean and tidy manner.
- Ensure that any area for which he is responsible is maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
- Ensure that his personal tools are maintained in a serviceable condition and are uniquely identified and registered with the Quality department.
- Report for duty in accordance with any publish work roster.
- Perform any other duties assigned by his respective supervisor.

Requirements

- Approximately 5+ years certification experience on type required.
- Hold valid and current General Civil Aviation Authority recognized international license.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with effective problem solving abilities
- Able to interface effectively with all levels of the organisation and external customers.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Rotary Wing aircraft.
- Experience working with the General Civil Aviation Authority and other Regulatory Agencies.
- Knowledgeable of the Authority regulations coupled with a strong engineering leadership background.

- Travel at short notice with VIP aircraft.
