Sales and Marketing Manager

Palladium is seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager on behalf of our client - a privately owned Agriculture Farming Company based in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.

The Sales & Marketing Manager will set the annual marketing and sales plan, informed through in-depth market research into most profitable/marketable agriculture produce. The role assumes a considerable Business Development responsibility, and will develop key business partnerships with leading GCC and Middle East retailers, distributors, etc. This expansion of business accounts will drive the sales of company Fruit and Vegetables.

Primary responsibilities
- Conducting in-depth market research into the top selling produce in the market, and advising the Production Manager on top-selling market products
- Setting the marketing and sales plan for the year based on the most profitable marketable produce – agreed upon with the Production Manager
- Development of key new business partnerships and accounts with leading retailers, distributors, airlines, caterers etc. across the GCC and Middle East ensuring building and expanding existing relationships
- Ensure that product specifications match market desires through customer feedback and work with Production Manager
- Achievement of sales volume, revenue and profitability goals
- Monitoring and reporting on competitive producers and suppliers
- Research into and development of international trade lines

Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetables sector within the Middle East market is essential
- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Agriculture or related
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma and professional qualification in Business or Marketing

- Desirable language capabilities - English, Hindi, Urdu, Persian
