Telinstra FZCO is currently looking for a Sales Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer with a strong technical background for our growing Automation business. The job profile requires the candidate:
- To conceptualize and create all aspects of marketing and sales, including: planning and research in the areas of industrial automation and controls using PLC, DCS, SCADA, telemetry systems,
- Safety systems, remote monitoring systems, real time automation, CMMS etc. The candidate should have an in depth knowledge from conceptualization to selling of such systems on a standalone basis or as a turnkey solution
- Strong understanding of Automation, Instrumentation, Electrical and Control systems.
- Should have a good understanding of generating system architecture & control solutions from client specification.
- Liaising and building relationships with a range of stakeholders including customers, suppliers and consultants
- Identifying suitable project enquiries and opportunities, to understand key aspects of technical specifications, perform preliminary review of the enquiry, arrange for internal discussion with the estimation team and provide assistance to estimation team in preparation of quotations
- Understanding of the project sales environment leading to closure of order with the technical ability to discuss solutions and systems with all contacts in the sales cycle
- Monitoring competitor activity and analyzing pricing position
Requirements
Candidate to have ideally an Engineering degree with 2 to 4 years’ experience in the GCC countries with an experience in any of the industrial sectors like Oil & Gas, water, waste water, district cooling, infrastructure, transport etc.
Having excellent relationship with various major EPCs, Contractors, End Users and Consultants.
Candidates with proven track record in sales of similar nature is a requirement.
