Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objective of the role is to generate and produce sales

Main responsibilities:
- Searching for new clients who could benefit from our products and services in a designated region
- Travelling to visit potential clients
- Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
- Managing and interpreting customer requirements
- Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
- Calculating client quotations
- Negotiating tender and contract terms
- Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
- Offering after-sales support services
- Administering client accounts
- Analyzing costs and sales
- Preparing reports for head office
- Meeting regular sales targets
- Recording and maintaining client contact data
- Coordinating sales projects
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product or service will meet client needs
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
- Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
- Solving client problems
- Helping in the design of custom-made products
- Providing training and producing support material for the sales team

Reporting to: Sales and Commercial Manager
Other interactions: Owner and investors
Number required: 1-2
Duration: Permanent position - contract valid 2 years
Desired start date: January 2016
Probation: 6 months

Working Hours: Sunday - Thursday
Travel requirements: Frequent travel across UAE, GCC and Iran
Gross monthly base salary: To be discussed
Commission / Bonus: To be discussed

Requirements

- University Qualifications: Engineering
- At least 5 years as Sales Engineer and proven sales record

Specialist knowledge: Knowledge about process equipment such as:
- Pressure vessels
- Columns
- Reactors
- Heat exchangers.

Our customers are mainly situated in the
- Chemical industry
- Petrochemical industry
- Metallurgical industry
- Nuclear industry.

Soft Skills and Personality traits:
Selling, presenting, negotiation, willing to take a challenge, open minded, easy going, ready to work hard

Age Range: 30-40
Gender Preference: Male/Female
Language Fluency: English
Current Location: UAE, Dubai or Abu Dhabi
