Job description / Role
As a Natural Gas Distribution Sales Engineer duties include;
Growing the NG Distribution business for ADNOC by building and developing effective and productive relationships with customers, contractors, authorities and industry partners. Playing a key role in influencing the introduction of Natural Gas into existing and new properties in the Residential, Commercial, Industrial sectors and other potential gas industry partners such as LPG supply companies.
Interacting with existing customers at various levels in order to identify Natural Gas usage and determine the potential for increasing the sale of Natural Gas products and services. Preparing designs, layouts, proposals and quotations aimed at increasing value from existing customers.
Contributing to all Sales and Technical requirements of the NG Department. Providing support to gas network planners to forecast load growth in the NG Distribution sectors. Interacting with engineering staff and contractors to ensure effective coordination of new NG connections.
Taking part in viability studies for Natural Gas products and services and performing market research and analysis to support the development of the prime market sectors. Gathering and analysing market data using various databases and modelling techniques, preparing reports and presentations drawing conclusions and making recommendations.
Requirements
- Must have extensive Gas Sales experience.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate at a senior level.
- Strong English written and spoken communication skills.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or energy related field.
