Role: Sales Engineer
Location: UAE
Salary: AED 25,000
Our client is a global chemical distribution company with a leading position in the EMEA region who are now expanding their business into the UAE.
Due to their successful work and growth they are looking to build a team in Dubai. They are looking to recruit a Sales Engineer who has experience in Water Solutions and who will be responsible to shape their products offers to their clients in the Region (GCC Countries, Iraq and Egypt)
Job description:
• Supporting the Sales Manager in looking at the technical aspect of the sales including product homologations and system designs in this field by submitting best solutions and services.
• Should have excellent knowledge of Reverse Osmosis, Ultra Filtration, Ion Exchange and Oil Water Separation technologies, having worked in commissioning of such systems in the past and having strong hands-on experience with the technicalities of these projects and tendering processes applicable in the region
• Analyzing and evaluating commercial and technical aspects on receipt of tenders, inquiries and indents.
• Preparing proposals, dosage rates and mode of application of products referring to Company Technical Department and relevant manuals for guidance
• Reviewing proposals prior to issuing to the client, follow up and revising the proposal as necessary to meet the clients’ needs; receiving and reviewing the clients order ensuring it is in accordance with the proposal and that the client needs are achievable; preparing the Application Quality Plan
• Participating in monthly, quarterly and annual business review meetings with customer top management.
• Identifying and developing opportunities to expand existing business levels within the nominated accounts and new ones.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly & yearly sales and revenue forecast.
• Working autonomously and delivering total client solutions, from product sales and advice, through to technical servicing.
• Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
• Visiting the consultants & designers in order to submit technical designs.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in this field is a must
• Candidate should be from an engineering background
• Arabic speaking candidate will be preferred for the role
• Frequent travel will be required excluding Iraq
