Job description / Role
The Air Freight Sales Executive will focus on growing sales and delivering on targets and seeking new clients to sell airfreight products and services, whilst providing knowledge and expertise to the clients.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities.
- Hunt for new clients and build up strong sale pipeline
- Arrange face to face meetings with key decision makers at the clients side
- Complete an in-depth needs analysis for the client and identify areas of the business where value added services can be provided to optimize the organizations supply chain and logistics function
- Close the sale and assist in the implementation process linking in with operations, customer service and senior management teams
- Manage the relationship between the dedicated operations team, client, finance and any other key stakeholder
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout all stages of the process and meet operational profit and growth targets
- Follow up on invoicing and billing with the customers and ensure the credit limits are adhered to. Coordinate with in-house finance regularly
- Ensure personal and team sales targets and KPIs are met
- Ensure timely collection of dues as per the agreement between customer and organization
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer service focus
- Must be familiar with airfreight both imports and exports is desirable
- General Knowledge of freight forwarding
- Familiarization with the Middle East logistics market
