Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose
- Manages the sales and distribution for Flow line & Compact Valve products in Africa.
- In charge of Flow line and Compact Valve sales, Integrated Service Sales, CSA development, inventory forecasts, marketing and contracts.
- Responsible for regional, country, customer and product (including service) sales strategies. Interface with key account managers in support of Africa growth.
- Defines and communicates market intelligence to the organization.

Scope of responsibilities
- Manage potential revenues of $4M to $6M per year with limited supervision.
- Must have broad industry knowledge and innovative skills to research trends and create an ongoing strategic plan that can be communicated clearly too sales, service and manufacturing managers.
- Receives direction from manager to set broad objectives, developing area goals, and solving unusual problems.
- Anticipates potential problems and proactively solves them through creative thinking, using internal and external resources. Adheres to current accounting, costing and quoting policies.
- Accepts ownership of area value, selling all services and product lines.
- Consults will all Company product lines in the area to insure market trends are current, communicating them to management.

Requirements

- 10 years sales experience (direct or indirect).
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required
- Proven experience working in Africa
- Proven experience working in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Driving License required.
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to speak / write French, Afrikaans, and or Arabic
- Ability to travel throughout Africa

- Excellent interpersonal skills, strategic ability and have a demonstrated track record in success with COMPANY projects and goals.
- Demonstrated experience with regional contract negotiations, multi-site interfaces, commercial management of complex contracts and Company and customer quality systems.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrate superb written and verbal English abilities.
- Reliable, highly focused, motivated, accurate with numbers, and possesses high moral standards.
- Ability to work in dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
