Dubai Holding Entertainment is part of Dubai Holding and have an exciting career opportunity at the Parks & Attractions business. We are looking to hire a Sales Manager - MICE & Groups. This position will be reporting to the Director – Domestic Sales.

Job purpose:
A business development role responsible of Corporate Events, Annual Pass, MICE , Special Events, School Groups, Conferences, DMC’s and any other revenue generation activity related to the parks in a B2B and B2C environment. Strong focus on account management, customer retention and client management.

Key Accountabilities (Includes, but not limited to the following):
• To generate business and manage requests for the Group, events & conference enquiries; acts as contact for the client throughout booking process
• To drive all local market activity relating to corporate accounts, specialist contracted partners across all listed segments
• To lead proposals quotations based on direction given by park operators on costs
• To lead liaison with the parks operational teams until the event running order is finalized and deliver comprehensive event brief
• To identify and propose new distribution opportunities for Bollywood Parks Dubai in the local market
• To work with partners to ensure each partner is aware of their sales target for the calendar year and the override opportunity available to them
• To take ownership of contracting and system set-up for all existing and new contracted partners
• To ensure sales KPI’s are met with clear understanding of revenue and sales goals for their assigned market(s)
• To adhere to all policies and procedures to the satisfaction of internal stakeholders
• Follow all relevant QHSE-IMS procedures and relevant legal requirements so that a certain minimum level of product/service quality can be guaranteed, personal health & safety, the safety of others and company assets are not jeopardized and the activities carried out are consistent with DPR’s vision of environmental protection and safety
• Other duties as may be assigned

Requirements

Minimum qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Tourism/ Hospitality

Minimum experience
• At least 5 years’ experience in the destination, attractions or hospitality industry. Background in Tourism / DMC

Skillset
• Prior experience of managing a team Independent and strategic thinker
• Motivated, enthusiastic with a positive attitude to work
• Proactive, seeks to make improvements
• Clear understanding of promotions and execution of programs across all marketing channels
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines with excellent time management skills.
• Understanding of GCC cultural peculiarities to ensure that designs created are in accordance and not offensive
• Good organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills of Microsoft, Google Docs, and MS Word /Excel/PPT
