Role: Sales Manager
Location: Dubai based with overall responsibility on Sales covering the GCC Egypt & Iraq
Salary: AED 30,000
Our client is a global chemical distribution company with a leading position in the EMEA region who are now expanding their business into the UAE. Due to their successful work and growth they are looking to build a team in Dubai.
They are looking to recruit a Product Sales Manager who has experience in Water Solutions and a strong Sales background. This is the Dubai-based position that will have the overall responsibility in the strategy for sales for product in the region (GCC, Iraq and Egypt)
Role & Responsibilities:
• Gain broad understanding of territory needs as it relates to the Water Solutions product
• Develop a complete understanding of products and applications (Water Treatment)
• Identifies, negotiates and close new opportunities for their products
• Should have worked on the commercial side in a technology provider, competitor or an OEM contractor
• Understand market trends and collect customer demand data and translate into accurate forecasts
• Maintain accounts and develop new business opportunities at existing accounts
• Increase market intelligence by providing information around industries, competitors and customers to Marketing and work closely with Technical Service to for all technical/application support work needed to maintain or grow business
• Support implementation of business strategy.
• Oversee supply agreements with Key Customers
• Ensure customers are adhering to payment terms and work with Credit and Customer Care to resolve payment or invoicing issues
• Prospect for new business within dedicated sales territory and generate leads and close new business pipeline opportunities
• Travel to partner locations and industry events as necessary
• Preparing monthly, quarterly & yearly sales and revenue forecast
• Should have experience in the field of Water Process Solutions in Reverse Osmosis membranes, Ultra Filtration membranes and Ion Exchange Resin implementations.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is a must
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in similar field
• Strong knowledge of regulations in special chemicals and water solutions and proven sales experience
• Flexible for travel (Excluding Iraq)
• Arabic a must
• Excellent communication and leadership skills essential
