Sales Planner - IKEA - Service Office - Dubai

Job purpose is to plan and execute all Sales plans for New Store build-ups. Plan new store layouts and coordinate the implementation with the respective Store Commercial Group functions during Commercial planning and buildup of all AFI Projects in the region.

You will be responsible for supporting the expansion programme by working with the Expansion and Store Teams such as Specialists & Commercial functions, Visual Merchandiser and other planners, also you will be Working in IKEA Store with projects – news stores launches, rebuilds and catalogue launches

About the Job:
- Planning and dimensioning of the allocated Commercial Areas for the new stores
- Implement strategies and techniques in the commercial brief for ;
- the range presentation
- the commercial and visual expressions – tops sellers,3 Aces and King are all well prioritised
- store communication
- Delivery of Plans that are market relevant, commercially viable , practical to implement and logistically oriented.
- Implement the commercial plans with the Store teams within the agreed timelines and to a high quality (AFI Standard)
- Ensure all commercial communication is implemented in the Commercial Build up phase in accordance to the IKEA Concept and commercial requirements of the business
- Working with the Com-in Teams to ensure best range presentation within the markethall
- Ensure the plans are correctly updated and prepared in accordance with the Range files and IKEA Concept and these are consistent with the latest proven solutions from Inter IKEA Systems BV.

STORE/REGIONAL SUPPORT
- Work with the stores when possible to build Sales and Planning competence within the current organisation/stores (Act in the capacity of Sales mentor)
- Train Store Sales functions on planning whenever required by the business

Requirements

- Must have a strong enthusiasm and interest in home furnishings
- Must be able to coach and train co-workers
- Must be able to speak and understand English
