Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a leading multinational automotive organization, is seeking to recruit a CIS Sales and Market Management Section Manager. You will be directly reporting to the General Manager of Sales

Own the responsibility of Sales and Market strategy implementation for the respective CIS market/markets by leading the sales functionalities to achieve the established regional sales objectives. Responsible for improving the quality of operations of the company through assisting in implementation of Quality standards & strategic action plans to increase the customers repurchase intentions in the region by increasing customer satisfaction at dealer outlets through various cross functional activities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Conduct the initial market research/analysis to set business plan proposal and finalize the business plan for the fiscal year
- Collect and analyze the specifications and pricing related activities of the competitors in the market in order to assess the competitiveness of products in coordination with marketing.
- Preparation of Monthly Vehicle Forecast Management and Monthly Order Volume Analysis by order evaluation and feedback from the company.
- Channel wise sales are monitored and analyzed periodically

Marketing Analysis
- Collect economical and political country specific information and keep a complete database of profiles, product information (for both the company & Competitors) to use in business planning and market development activities.
- Provide the needed Support to the Fleet function.
- Initiate sales incentive programs, support strategies to ensure the proper utilization of monetary support given to the company in order to achieve sales objectives and forecasts.
- Evaluate the market price using Value Analysis and support the company for Price setting activities.
- Monitor & analyze orders/order-forecast

Performance Indicators
- Actual versus planned sales numbers, profitability and Market Share
- Actual versus planned sales numbers, profitability and Market Share
- Actual versus planned sales & order volume numbers.
- Channel wise sales performance vs plan

Walk In & Closing ratios
- Channel Sales performance
- Actual versus Budget

Operating environment:
- Manual sales data analysis is one of the time consuming activities of the role. System generated activities will make the job more effective in terms of those specific tasks.
- Sales plans are being made annually but followed up monthly. Monthly meetings are held to discuss the market situation in order to make the necessary changes in the plan if needed
- A lot of effort needs to be put in implementing various activities

Communication & working relationship:
- The job requires effective relationship with M&S Director, General Manager, Colleagues in the Marketing Sales Department Operations on a daily basis to coordinate sales activities
- After sales department on a monthly basis to exchange information on the markets
- National Sales Companies on a daily basis to forecast, plan and oversee their sales activities
- Cross Functional Team to to get and provide information about sales
- 3rd party suppliers for the award/reward schemes etc

Framework, boundaries & decision making:
- The job requires a decision making of vehicle allocation, setting sales and fleet incentives for the company on regular basis.
- General Manager of the department reviews the job on budget setting once a year and sales performance on a monthly basis.
- Most of the decisions with regards to are taken in conjunction with the GM.
- Approvals are needed from GM regarding travel, Incentive & award schemes
- Action plan status is reported to the GM on a monthly basis and participates in the monthly meeting.
- Job requires advance planning since all activities need to be planned ahead of time.
- Need to be flexible and should be able to handle the pressure of handling day to day challenging tasks.

EXPERIENCE, OTHER SKILLS:
Minimum 5-6 years of Sales & Marketing experience in sales operations within the automotive industry.
