Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client a leading multinational investment management firm are seeking a sales support executive to work on a 4 month contract:

Purpose:
- To provide sales support to clients in the UAE with a particular focus on the Asset Management Channel. Importantly to be the alternate contact for the clients of the sales people with whom you work and to build a strong working relationship with these firms.
- To work effectively within a strong team environment to ensure the overall team achieves its business objectives; providing support and mentoring colleagues.

Key tasks:

Sales support
- Working with the Head of UAE Sales and Business Development to develop the companies business relationship with the firms for which they are responsible. These will include banks and wealth management firms some of the companies most important wholesale clients.

Meetings/presentations
- Assisting in the organisation and hosting of meetings/presentations; particularly those including Fund Managers.

Telephone Support
- Help to ensure that all team telephone lines are answered promptly and professionally, providing appropriate telephone cover where necessary.

Dealing Support
- To liaise with clients and our administrator to ensure that all deals (investments and redemptions) are executed in a timely and efficient manner.

CRM System
- Help to manage the accuracy of client data held on the Salesforce CRM System and maintain an accurate record of all client activity.

Distributor/Rebate Agreements
- Responsible for the preparation and completion of Distributor/Rebate Agreements with clients; liaising where relevant with the legal,compliance, finance and transition departments.

Client Lists
- Responsible for liaising with the marketing team regarding the provision of client lists for email and mailing initiatives.

Performance Software
- A working knowledge of the use of performance measurement systems e.g. Morningstar.

Sales/Performance Data
- Responsible for circulating fund performance and sales data to the wider sales team.

Fund Managers/Performance measurement
- Liaising with in house fund managers and performance measurement to provide fund related information on stocks, sectors, forecasts and performance when requested by clients

Sales Support mentoring
- Provide mentoring to less experienced colleagues within the Wholesale Sales team.
- Coordination of Departmental activities.

The Sales Support Executive will ensure that the Team Business Continuity Plan (“BCP”) – including call cascade details, is regularly reviewed for required updates.

Will communicate any ECP directives received from the Head of ECP, back to the Department. In the event of any building evacuation, the Sales Support Executive will be responsible for conducting a Departmental roll call and reporting back to the ECP Executive Team.

The Sales Support Executive will ensure that the Team BCP Test Scripts are periodically reviewed for required updates. The Sales Support Executive will act as chief liaison to ensure that the Team Business Impact Analysis (“BIA”) is fully updated on an annual basis.

Requirements

- Be competent in knowledge of the company Funds in order to be able to respond to client questions.
- Develop strong relationships with key customers (internally and externally).
- Deliver to agreed service standards.
- General Maintain a high level of process and procedure knowledge. Comply with the standards as laid down in the procedure manual
- Keep abreast of Compliance regulations and requirements and ensure that they are followed.
- Fulfil additional, relevant tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements.

- Must have previous experience as a sales support assistant or team assistant for a bank, wealth management or asset management company
- Must be available to start at the end of August for a period of 4 months
- Excellent administration skills and customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills

Salary will be 15,000 AED per month.

Must be on a sponsored Visa.
