Our Client is well-known organisation in UAE, and a leader in their specialist field within the Middle East. The company has established itself as a significant master planner in the UAE with world-class iconic destinations and won prestigious accolades. Due to company growth, they are looking to hire skilled specialists into the team.
They are currently looking for SAP Engineer to join the team. In this role you will be responsible for managing of the SAP technical environment, implementing and maintaining the multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, test, training and production). You will be maintaining the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure all configuration and development objects are promoted properly. You will be introducing technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability and performance of each SAP instance.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing an optimal SAP configuration to maximize system performance and availability, installing and configuring all required SAP database servers and application servers, managing SAP users, authorizations, and profiles, distributing the online SAP user workload and monitor and manage the SAP background job workload. You will be accountable for AIX system administration (Adds/changes/delete users), installation & maintenance of LPARS & resources defragmentation and installation & management of system security policies on SAP, AIX, TSM and routers.
Requirements
To be a successful candidate you must be a Graduate/Post Graduate in Computer science with minimum 8 years of experience in UAE. Excellent English skills and IT technical skills in SAP BASIS, SAP SECURITY, SYBASE DB, AIX, TSM, CISCO, FIREWALLS, Upgrade and migration are required.
