Job description / Role
- Provide subject matter expertise on SAPs best practices for implementing SAP FICO business processes.
- Lead workshops in gathering business requirements, influence adoption of standard SAP processes, identify and handle gaps while minimizing development effort.
- Lead design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP FICO business processes
- Define and execute unit test, integration test and regression test scripts to validate key end-to-end business scenarios and troubleshoot complex functional issues/bugs identified during implementation, testing, and post-Go Live
- Documenting all aspects of the SAP FICO implementation (e.g. business blueprint design, application configuration, functional specifications, test plans, business process procedures etc.)
- Ensures consistent, timely and effective communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Keep track of customer satisfaction.
- Provides input and assistance to other IT projects related to ERP if required.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional and technical teams with minimal supervision.
- Coach, mentor and train other SAP FICO functional consultants and support their growth and learning
Requirements
- Should have experience of 6-10 years
- Should have experience in Functional subject matter expert in SAP FICO business processes
- At least 4 full life-cycle implementation of SAP FICO
- SAP FI or CO Certification is a plus
- Work with minimal supervision
- Ability to influence others without authority
The position is a 1 year contract (initial commitment), which could be renewed based on performance.
