SAP Procurement Officer

Job description / Role

• Utilize SAP procurement modules to manage and streamline the end-to-end procurement process.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize SAP settings to meet the specific needs of the coffee supply chain business.
• Identify and assess potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships with key vendors.
• Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular supplier audits to ensure adherence to quality standards, delivery schedules, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and develop procurement plans accordingly.

About the Client:
A highly respected group in the coffee sector, based in Abu Dhabi, known for its high-quality coffee brands, servicing both retail and luxury outlets across the region

Qualifications:
• 28 to 40 years old
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• Must have SAP experience and direct experience in coffee procurement and supply chain/planning
• Preferrably with a background in F&B/ Retail and FMCG supply chain
• Must be proficient in procurement softwares and MS Office Suite
• Should have analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills and effective organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks
