Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The SAP Project Manager is responsible for successfully delivering the SAP P2P Enhancements and e-Procurement projects, in line with the scope and projected timelines. The SAP Project Manager will be responsible for managing these projects by working closely with the Project Manager and the implementation team of the appointed 3rd party system implementer (SI).

- Responsible for PMO activities such as issue and risk management, project change management, scope management, project governance, status reporting, business change management and communication
- Coordinate with SI for project initiation activities by providing input and performing a final review on deliverables such as: resource allocation, project governance, project charter, kick off workshop, project plan and schedule
- Attend all project meetings, workshops and testing / training sessions. Prepare and distribute meeting minutes for all meetings.
- Provide input, final review and signoff of all project deliverables such as blueprint design document, functional and technical specifications, security and authorizations requirements, testing strategy, configuration document, unit testing, integration testing, training plan and schedule, training material, UAT scripts, UAT results, data migration plan, cutover plan, post go live support plan
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and deliverables against the critical path.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree
- Project Management Certification preferred
- SAP MM / SRM Certification will be an advantage
- A minimum of 5 years experience within project management using leading methodologies and processes
- A minimum of 3 end to end implementations as project manager for SAP SRM and or MM
- A minimum of 1 implementation involving SAP MM and PS integration
- Experience of managing multiple parties including internal project teams and 3rd party vendors on technology projects
- Commercial acumen and ability to prepare plans and project strategies are essential.
- The ability to forge close relationships with decision makers.
- Good command of English
- Arabic language will be an added advantage.
