Job description / Role
We are currently looking to recruit an Sea Freight Coordinator who will effectively handle Sea freight documentation and liaise with all stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely sea freight operation procedures.
Specifically, the main responsibilities are as follows:
- Efficient handling of customer service while coordinating with internal and external clients.
- To ensure on time and accuracy in invoicing, costing of all related costs in EDI Cargo wise.
- Quarterly review of QMS (quality management system) documents as part of on the job training.
- Update milestone on a daily basis in EDI Cargo wise for each and every job and scanning of all documents such as POD (proof of delivery).
- Create and update the SLA for the customers being handled and send it to the Team Leader / Air Freight Manager for review.
- Update the Team Leader of any customer complaints on an immediate basis.
- To avoid issuance of credit note due to operational errors.
Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years work experience as an Sea Freight Coordinator and must have good knowledge of Air freight operations procedures.
- Must be efficient in handling client accounts and in coordinating with agent offices worldwide as per client requirements.
- Must have a professional stance with a positive attitude.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be highly computer literate.
- Driving License would also be an added advantage.
