Security Project Officer

Job description / Role

Security Project Officer is required by a leading global organization to prepare and deliver complex security project for all locations and outlets.

You will be responsible for providing security and safeguarding the following;
- Events and Exhibitions security management
- Prepare insurance Level 2 and above etc
- Preparing, managing and delivering security concepts for events and expos etc
- Be project manager and point of contact for all security issues during events
- Ensure Compliance and Audits are met and adhered to
- Implementing best compliance and audit practices and conducts security audits etc as of when required.
- You will be responsible for implementing company wide security measure sat new locations
- Control, support and enforce security guidelines to local law standards
- Review all security specifications in line with company code of conduct
- Manage all security suppliers and monitor/measure performance
- conduct and carry out all investigations reporting all accordingly in line with company protocol

Requirements

- Degree in Engineering, or technical or police, military or security
- 5-7 + years of experience gained within a similar role
- Have a strong knowledge of security (physical)
- Excellent man management skills
- Time management and organizations skills at the highest level
- Strong technical skills on security systems etc
- Personal, proactive, pragmatic, well-traveled and understands local customs and culture
- Good knowledge of working for a multi- national or retail/fmcg sector.
