WHO ARE WE?

The Avionics Global Business Unit (AVS) supplies flight avionics, electrical power generation and conversion, and in-flight entertainment and connectivity systems. It encompasses training and simulation solutions for air, land and joint forces as well as microwave and imaging subsystems, thanks to 11,000 employees. 2 out of 3 aircraft in the world take off and land using Thales equipment.

The Toulouse factory encompasses two main activities: one in charge of designing and selling solutions for aircraft and helicopters (flight deck, cabin, civil and military missions, services; the other one in charge of Air Traffic Management (ATM), being Thales historical center of excellence of ATM systems.

Within the Flight Avionics Business Line , the Avionics Service Worldwide Business Segment is looking for a Senior Account Manager - Middle East, Turkey and East Africa, based in Dubai (United Arabs Emirates).

WHO ARE YOU?

• You have at least 10 years of solid experience in B2B sales , and you have successfully contributed to complex sales negotiations?
• You have experience in service sales?
• Ideally, you know very well the airlines industry, especially the flight operations (dispatch, AOG, asset management, air and ground connectivity).
• You are recognized by your peers for your pro-activeness , listening quality and your ability to take a step back and look at the subject from a broader perspective , especially in case of conflictual situation.
• Excellent speaker , you find the right balance between diplomacy and firmness depending on the needs.
• You love challenges and are resilient; you are always up for new challenges and ready to get 100% on board with our team?
• You are looking for a job where the devil is in the details , and where your influence is paramount to close deals?
• You like data crunching and are ready to use data mining tools?
• You have a strong command of English, are able to negotiate and influence in this language taking into account cultural differences and subtleties when facing locals?
• You speak a second language, and indeed a third one: Arabic, Turkish, French?

Requirements

WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER:

You join a team of 5 people (2 Senior Account Manager, 2 field service managers, 1 customer performance manager), based in Dubai, with business trips within the Middle East, Turkey and Eastern Africa.

As Senior Account Manager , you are the focal point for all the accounts of your portfolio (airlines and MRO). You develop and grow the customer intimacy. You understand the customer needs and are able to work with multicultural and multidisciplinary teams to build winning offers.

By joining us, your missions will be as follows:

• Identification and qualification of business pursuits; then capture lead to transform the sales opportunities into closed deals, thanks to your customer intimacy and adequate management of the capture team , as per the annual objectives.
• Market intelligence ; listening to the market and the customers, getting a grasp on the ecosystem evolution, in order to adapt Thales offer and increase our market share in the long run ; value proposition minded.
• Working closely with Thales ASW teams in Toulouse and in Chatellerault , and with the International Development team s of Thales in Dubai (DGDI) . Ensuring clear and regular reporting, giving full visibility on commercial situation, objectives and on-going actions.
