Employment: Full Time

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for revenue accounting, financial reporting, cash management and supervising of daily and periodic financial transactions along with the Financial Controller on provision of financial data and reports for decision making purposes.

• The Senior Accountant needs to establish the integrity of accounting information under the guidelines of IFRS by recording, verifying, consolidating, and reconciling transactions.
• He/she is required to ensure accuracy and completeness by using a holistic view through various reports such as receivables aging, revenue analysis, sales reconciliation, sub-ledger reconciliation, and others.
• Responsible for managing the accounting of revenue and expenses.
• Recording, Reconciling, and invoicing, coordinate with customers and followed up on invoicing collection to maintain strong working capital.
• Support financial controller to prepare KPI report and Financial Statements.
• Collect & consolidate required information from internal/external stakeholders.
• Maintains and balances ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions or provision, accruals and payments of related parties and resolving open discrepancies on time.
• Preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecast for revenue and related expenses (OPEX).
• Develop assumptions, ideas and present to senior management.
• Formulating monthly consolidation that includes quarterly receivable analysis, revenue, and profit analysis.
• Providing the revenue analysis to management on (daily, weekly, ad-hoc basis) with detailed reasoning and comparison of actual vs budgeted results.
• Lead and develop the team for revenue recording, sales reconciliations, Invoicing, cash management, and implement controls to ensure the accuracy of accounting transactions with no financial leakage.
• Perform month closing process and meeting the deadlines provided by management.
• Manage the team for cash management cycle: collection, recording, reconciling, and ensure all receipts deposited in bank and reconciled with books.
• Review/Check daily cash payments & system entries.
• Evaluate workflow processes and procedures to develop, recommend and implement procedural and system changes to increase accuracy and efficiencies
• Handling the finalization of statutory and group internal audits.
• Provide the required information on time and, independently discuss with auditors to close all queries and prepare supporting documents requested by auditors.

Salary:
AED 6,000 to 9,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant, with at-least 3 years of experience, preferably in large corporate accounting environment and experienced in supervisory role
• Able to communicate effectively within and outside finance team to ensure Group Accounting principles are not compromised
• Able to work on multiple activities to meet multiple stakeholder’s expectation.
• Able to work in deadline driven environment
• Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines, juggle multiple priorities and in fast paced, dynamic environment
• Accuracy, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and meet critical deadlines
• Strong analytical skills and technical accounting knowledge
• Aviation industry experience is a plus
