Senior Accountant

Job description / Role

• Senior Accountant who is responsible for timely month end closure, accurate payment processing, management reporting and general ledger process
• Good communication, coordination skills and prior experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders including banks
• Experience in preparation of standalone financials statements, management accounts and consolidated financial statements
• Understanding of audit process including audit schedules, reconciliations and audit evidence
• Expected to perform month end closure and General ledger postings/maintenance related tasks independently
• A proven positive track record in previous employments and ability to work with a ERPs, MS excel, PPT and related tools
• General understanding of IFRSs and recent IFRS developments
• In detail understanding of PPE processes and related activities
• Knowledge on UAE VAT will be an added advantage
• Good negotiation skills and ability to perform AR and AP related functions whenever required
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing payments is expected

Salary:
AED 10,000 to 13,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Negotiable

Requirements

• Candidate should be fully qualified or a finalist CA/ACCA equivalent
• Age below 35 years
• Experience in construction industry will be an added advantage
• Self-motivated, solution driven team player
