Job description / Role
Our client is looking for a French speaking senior accountant to be responsible for day to day processing of GL, balance sheet and basic recording and accounting needs of the business.
Main activities include:
- Create and process journal entries to ensure that finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner
- Routine accounting duties including month-end closing and ensure financials are submitted on time
- Responsible for general ledger account analysis and reconciliations so that the financials are reported accurately to management and external stakeholders
- Research financial information for audit purposes and financial reporting
- Analyze financial records and reports and make adjustments as needed
- Prepare and enter journal entries which include correcting entries, allocating expenditures etc.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years professional experience
- A degree holder in Accounting
- Excellent written and spoken French and English
- Extensive Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge in any ERP Applications like Oracle, SAP , Peoplesoft etc.
