Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Architect who will manage a team in Dubai on a day to day basis to deliver the Hotel Interiors package for one of the top Far Eastern Luxury Hotel Operators, on one of the most prestigious sites currently available in the UK.

Our client have been appointed as both Architect and Interior Architect managing a number of Interior Designers to produce concept designs (residential, hotel, spa, restaurant designers) and coordinating their work with the Architects.

Our client in Dubai will then take the designs forward to Design Development and Construction Documentation with their team in Dubai. The design is currently nearing completion of Concept Stage, moving into Scheme Design.

Revit/BIM capability/ understanding is required, in order to manage the design and delivery process. Good organizational skills are required. The candidate should demonstrate a good understanding of preparing Interiors Construction Documents and be prepared to work through a complex design processes of reviews and approvals.

Someone is needed who can focus on Detail and is meticulous in checking drawings, whilst being able to organize their output and the output of others rigorously.

Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in spoken and written English and preferably have a Western Education from a good School of Architecture (BA Degree or equivalent in Architecture or Interior Design is a minimum) with 5-10 years of experience working in Interiors and 2-3 years of Hotel design experience.

They need to have good presentational skills in English. Regular travel to London for Workshops is required (monthly for 3-4 days) to present to the Client and Design Team. An ability to coordinate a large consultant team (based in London) and work closely with our Interiors Staff in London is essential.

The successful candidate will report to the Project Director and be a key member of the team assisting in the management of the project, whilst taking a pro-active role in preparing information and in day to day management of a production team of 10-12 people ultimately.
