Job description / Role
Our client a large construction company, is urgently looking for a Senior Architect to be based in Dubai. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
This critical role will be responsible for facilitating high-quality project documentation required for different phases in a timely manner alongside the coordination of the architectural and engineering services on various projects.
Paramount to success within this varied role will include;
• Assisting in coordination and review of the development of architectural and engineering construction drawings.
• Understanding of design and construction concepts whilst attending meetings to provide technical solutions to resolve design issues on projects.
• Providing project data as requested by the Project Architect or Project Manager (i.e. area schedules, building heights, number of stories, etc.).
• Prepare documentation for analysis and review for specific issues.
• Responsible for generating architectural drawings based on the design concept of others, utilizing AutoCAD, Revit or other Software.
• Using own judgment and analysis for both architectural and interior projects.
• Prepare physical/visual survey documentation
• Complete redline drawings and drafting details.
• Prepare and develop architectural detailing and specification design
• Coordinate design with other disciplines such as structural, MEP, environmental, infrastructure, interior, etc.
Requirements
• 7 - 9 years career experience in Architecture and Design
• Experience working in reputed Engineering Consultancy Firm
• Bachelor of Architecture and / or Interior Design
• Master\'s level qualification will be viewed favourably
• Prepare and development conceptual design
