Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Senior Brand Manager will play a key role in supporting the development of the overall category strategy, and is expected to drive the growth of their assigned brands through excellent marketing execution.

* Manage total brand GRM Marketing & activations
* Revolutionize BTL activities to a MEGA full year activation
* Work with product team to make seasonal campaigns holistic ongoing
* Build strong regional relationships with KOLs / Ministries
* Identify long-term endorsement bodies and build partnerships
* Work with Legal / Regulatory to ensure contracts are in place
* Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely payments and smooth running of all programs
* Update organization monthly on the progress of the brand activities
* To develop, recommend and lead the execution of local marketing plans for assigned brands and manage the effective deployment of the marketing budget
* To contribute to the development of category strategies
* To initiate and manage market research projects to deliver powerful consumer and customer insights as the basis for long term brand growth.
* Develop these insights into achievable plans
* In close co-operation with the Sales function and Trade Marketing, identify trade needs/ opportunities, developing pricing and distribution strategies and trade promotions for assigned brands
* Day to day management and coaching of the Assistant Brand Manager(s) in the Marketing team

Requirements

High calibre candidates with a min 5-6 Years marketing experience.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate outstanding marketing skills and potential, developed within an FMCG environment.

Educated to minimum bachelors degree level in a business related subject

Functional Skills:
* Budget management
* Networking - Agency and stakeholder relationships
* Local market knowledge - rules / laws etc
* Exposure to agencies in the region
* Understanding of 360 activations - On-ground activity + media amplification (especially Digital)

* Manage stakeholders - Upwards / Downwards / External (this will only be possible if he has worked in a similar role)
